What is Permanent Makeup?

Permanent Make-Up is a form of cosmetic tattooing for eyebrows, eyeliner and lips. There are other names referring to permanent makeup such as semi permanent makeup, SPMU and PMU. The specialised techniques used for permanent cosmetic procedures are different to traditional tattooing where ink is injected into the skin a lot deeper. Permanent makeup pigments are specifically made for facial skin where the skin is thinner and is not implanted as deep into the skin meaning its not totally permanent. Numbing creams are used even though it is very minimal discomfort.
