What is Lip Blush? how can it help?

Lip Blush can help with the shape and the symmetry of your lips, giving the illusion of fuller and more voluminous lips. Lip Blush can shape your lips and cupids bow giving you a soft wash of colour.  Full Lip Colour can give you a bolder and more saturated effect.

Lip Blush is a beautiful soft wash of colour effect, more natural and enhancing. I like to describe  Lip Blush as a tinted look. This style can correct and re shape lips also.

Full lip colour is more dense and saturated in colour creating a more bold effect while also correcting shape & symmetry.

My Tips

Before having this treatment, I recommend doing a lip scrub. Lip scrubs can be made at home using sugar mixed with either olive oil or coconut oil! Doing this will remove all the dry and old skin cells from the lips which will result in quicker healing time and better healed results. I always advise using a hydrating lip balm such as Burt's Bees (Vaseline isn't hydrating to the lips) and drinking plenty of water before and after your treatment.

If you suffer with cold sores, lip blush can cause an outbreak so its best to take some anti viral meds prescribed by a doctor and have some Zovirax cream on hand! If you do not suffer with re occurring cold sores, then there is no need to worry about a cold sore out break.

We can discuss all of this during consultation or email if you're unsure/confused. Permanent Makeup is completely bespoke to each client with your goals and aspirations for your lips taken into account from the very beginning.

I always recommend my clients bring along their favourite lipstick/gloss so I can get ideas and match up some goal colours!
